I had the pleasure of meeting the Harris family this weekend! This was the first session with the family so I was excited to get to know them! They showed up with beautiful 4 year old Larissa and her adorable younger brother Graham. I could immediately tell how close this family was. Even Larissa and Grahm were like two peas in a pod and kept me smiling the entire time. It's rare you see brother and sister hold hands unless they're forced to to cross the street or to pose for a picture but, these two would just lock hands and walk together. It was the cutes thing and I just found myself curious as to what they would do next! Especially Graham...you can tell by the pictures he's the ornery one...he's the kind that just makes you want to laugh! That infectious little smile pretty much says it all : ) His sister Larissa on the other hand is quiet and more reserved...an absolute beautiful little girl and I often found myself curious as to what she was thinking...she had the best expressions! Not always smiling but most of my favorites aren't smiling but that look of just inner peace and happiness.

The Newest Royalty...

This little Italian Princess was my most recent newborn session! Baby Gianna is 11 days old in these shots and already a little model! She of course didn't want to sleep at first but, with some help from Mom and Dad we were able to get her warm and sleepy! Big brother Dawson went on a walk with Dad while Mom and I got to work! Gina you were so good with the heater and staying out of the shot I may have to have you come along with me on all my newborn sessions...lol. I had so much fun with the family and really enjoyed Dawson and Gianna...they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL children! So happy they have found a home here in Dublin and I really look forward to seeing the kids as they get older!! Thank you for letting me spend a few hours with your family during the hectic time of having a new baby in the house!

Abby and Chase

I had the pleaseure of meeting up with Abby and Chase along with their parents last Sunday at Everal Barn in Westerville! Chase was great always smiling and wanting to pose for the camera! At the end he even thanked more for taking his picture! I thought that was so sweet!! Abby wasn't as thrilled about getting her picture taken but equally as adorable as her brother! I think once she forgot I was following her around with a camera she actually started to enjoy herself! I think she may have broken her own rule of no smiling for pictures : )

Carson!

Meet Carson! He's 8 days old and such a sweet little guy! Him and his big sister Karina were so much fun! When I got there Carson was getting ready for his big photo session so he wouldn't be hungry and I decided to try win Karina over with my iPhone! I mean what 18 month old wouldn't love you if you gave them your cell phone! We turned on some music and had a mini dance party! She was so much fun and sweet as can be! At one point I asked her if she could give Carson a kiss and made the smacking sound of a kiss with my lips and she smiled at me, then walked over and gave me a big kiss! It was just too sweet!! You can already tell she's going to give Carson a run for his money but, she's going to be an awesome big sister!

Kim and John thank you so much for letting me come to your home and spend some time with your family! You have such a loving family and beautiful children! Congratulations we are so happy for you!!

Captain Hook Greggy!

I met up with Greggy, his Dad Greg and his Dad's girlfriend Emma at Scioto Park on a Monday evening. I have known Emma for years but, had never had the pleasure of meeting her boyfriend Greg and his son Greggy. They showed up and I quickly realized what a great little family they make! Seeing them all together just made me smile! They just seem to have so much fun together and I could tell he had a strong bond with not only his Dad but Emma as well!

 Greggy was so cute turning to me periodically to smile and say "Cheese". He's at that perfect age where you never know what they are going to say and he kept me giggling the entire time! I think the thing that struck me the most was the amazing imagination this little one has. With his little pirate hat, hook and sword he transformed himself into Captain Hook in an instant! With the playground as his ship he fought off all the alligators! Even taking a break from protecting his Dad and Emma from the alligators to inform his Dad that "Captain Hook needs a drink"...of juice!

Emma and Greg thank you so much for allowing me to share this time with your family! Greggy is such a sweet, sweet boy and I absolutely adored him!

Meet the Lofink Family!

It's not often you find close friends later in life. Most of my close friends I've known for 15 to 25 years! Acquaintances that you may go out with from time to time maybe, but friends that you know are going to be around for your kids to grow up together...I think that's pretty rare! I met the Lofink family about a year and a half ago when their oldest son MJ and my son were in the same class at daycare together. Never did I imagine that through our children we would all become such great friends! They are an absolute wonderful family! Mom Heather recently started a new career as a local real estate agent with HER Real Livings Clintonville branch and doing great! Dad Michael is the most amazing chef ever (truly)traveling all over for the Columbus Fish Market!

Their boys MJ  and Dylan are an absolute riot! They have soooo much personality and are so fun to be around! When they asked me to do their family pictures I was thrilled! I couldn't wait to capture their ornery little faces and expressions that I see them make when they're playing. I had so much fun meeting up with them! Thanks for spending the morning with me Heather and Michael! MJ and Dylan I hope that Subway they bribed you with was goooooood! : )

Welcome to the World Sweet Paxton!

I had the pleasure of spending time with 6 days young baby Paxton and her Mom Amy on Friday! Paxton was born on August 20, 2011 to very proud parents Amy and Ryan. If you know them you are well aware that between the two of them she is destined to be a beautiful child (both inside and out)! She is the sweetest little baby and I didn't hear a peep from her the entire time I was there even though she decided she wanted to be apart of girl time and stay awake through most of the session. There we're lots of stops for feedings and snuggles but I enjoyed every minute of my time with them! When I wasn't clicking away I had the chance to catch up with my friend Amy and hear all about the big day of Paxton's arrival!

 Amy and Ryan, I'm so excited for your future as a family with Paxton! Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl!
