Bailey's 9 Month Sneak Peek

I met up with Bailey and her family for her 9 month session this weekend at Everal Barn! This time she brought her parents AND her grandparent's along with her! She was ready to go equipped with her adorable pink little Ugg boots and that beautiful smile. I couldn't believe how much she had changed since her 6 month session...sitting up, smiling more! I had so much fun with her and her family. You can definetly tell that this little girl is the apple of not only her parents but her grandparent's eye as well! When you look at the pictures I'm sure you'll see why. She is an absolute doll and has the sweetest little personality...an absolute joy to shoot! Thank you Alyssa and Dana for meeting up with me and for bringing the entire family along! It's always so great to see your family!

Family Fun!

This little girl is very near and dear to my heart as she is my cousin Lauren's daughter Danice. Danica is the same age as my youngest so it was fun to watch her and see how similar the two are. I showed up at my Aunt's house and when the door opened there she was in her little pink tutu. Since my cousin lives in Chicago I don't have the opportunity to see them as much as I would like so I have only had the pleasure of see Danica twice! I bent down put my arms out and asked her if I could have a hug...she stopped, looked at me, then after a short pause ran over and threw her arms around me. I was in love all over again and decided she had to come home with me...lol. I knew it would never happen with Mom and Grandma there so I took comfort in knowing I at least had the next hour with her! She was SO much fun...such a sweet happy little girl and absolutely beautiful just like her Mama! Lauren I really enjoyed my time with her and you...thanks for sharing her for a little bit with me! Aunt Wease thank you for setting it all up...I always enjoy my time with you! Love you guys so much and hope you enjoy the few images I have completed of Danica...there were so many I had a hard time choosing!

Kennedy's 1!!

I just saw sweet little kennedy three months ago at her 9 month session and I was so excited when her Mom Erin asked me to join them for her first birthday party! One of my favorite things about doing photography is watching the children as they get older. A little bittersweet as it seems to go by so fast but, I love capturing the moments at each age!

The birthday party was a big event with many friends and family members there to share in the occasion. It's clear how many people love this family by how many turned out to celebrate! Mom Erin and Dad Steve took advantage of the smash cake special I had running last month and Moonlight Custom Cakes made an amazing customized smash cake just for Kennedy!

Erin, Steve and Kennedy thank you so much for letting me be apart of Kennedy's first birthday...I absolutely love seeing your family and watching Kennedy as she grows from a beautiful baby girl into the beautiful little girl she is becoming!

Clay turns 2!

It was a perfect nigh tin Powell for Clay's 2 year photo session ...80 degrees, sunny and just a slight breeze. Ahhh! I met up with Clay and his Mom Jen (a close high school friend of mine) and away he went to explore the trails. Clay was such a riot making his Mom and I laugh the entire time talking gibberish, as he ran ahead of us and then turning to us smiling as if to say "catch me if you can" Since I have been friends with his Mom so long I would have to say his orneriness is probably her payback...in a good way. I have 3 ornery children myself and wouldn't trade their little personalities for the world...plus I'm pretty sure it's a little payback for me as well : ) I love being around children like Clay they make you smile, laugh and feel so care free. Kind of like being a kid again!

"Remember when all we had to do was to keep our ponytails straight and catch fireflies?" - Author Unknown

Meet Shawni, a sweet energetic 8 year old girl I had the pleasure of doing a session for at Scioto Park. I had so much fun with her and she kept me laughing through the entire session!  Being with her reminded me of when I was younger...seemed like it was just yesterday. She so girl y and talkative and absolutely loved to pose for the camera. I had to be creative to get any candid shots with this girl but I snuck a couple in on her!!

Luckily she posed like a little model : ) Just look at her a real natural!
