I met up with the Fox Family in Powell...although we wouldn't have to go far to meet up with them as they are neighbor's of mine! They are a wondersul family...Brandon and Ben are such sweet and courtous boys! Michelle is a stay at home Mom by day...you can always find her playing outside with her boys! However, by night Michelle is the artist and owner of Moonlight Custome Cakes. Her work is amazing....beautiful by design and absolutely delicious to eat. If you ever need cakes or cupcakes you have to check out her blog or Facebook page under Moonlight Custome Cakes! I promise you won't be dissappointed! : )
I had so much fun with them and the boys did awesome together! I think Ben may grow up to be a photographer as he kept telling Brandon..."let's do this it will be a good picture!" I greatly appreciated his help and as you can see from the shots of the two of them it seemed to work!!

Bailey's 9 Month Sneak Peek
I met up with Bailey and her family for her 9 month session this weekend at Everal Barn! This time she brought her parents AND her grandparent's along with her! She was ready to go equipped with her adorable pink little Ugg boots and that beautiful smile. I couldn't believe how much she had changed since her 6 month session...sitting up, smiling more! I had so much fun with her and her family. You can definetly tell that this little girl is the apple of not only her parents but her grandparent's eye as well! When you look at the pictures I'm sure you'll see why. She is an absolute doll and has the sweetest little personality...an absolute joy to shoot! Thank you Alyssa and Dana for meeting up with me and for bringing the entire family along! It's always so great to see your family!

A Beautiful Day at the Falls...
I went to Hayden Falls this weekend to shoot a senior portrait session for Brandon. It was a perfect fall day! It had just rained in the days prior to the session and the falls were coming down in full force! His Mom Lisa had said how she always took her boys down to the falls when they were young so it seemed to be a fitting and nostalgic place to do his session! Brandon was so low key and calm just as the surroundings down by the falls so I think that it was the perfect location for him! I had a great time with Brandon and his family walking around looking for the "next best spot" for his next shot. Good luck with your senior year of high school Brandon and I hope you enjoy every moment of it!

The Lane's
Jenny and I went to high school together and have known each other for a long time! It's always so fun to me to reconnect with people you haven't seen for a while and catch up on where they have been, see how much their kids have grown and enjoy talking about all that has gone on since you last spoke. The last I saw Jenny and Dave's little girls they were at the same day care center as my kids and Maddy was just a baby! Olivia I would recognize anywhere with that sweet face and ornery smile but, Maddy I wouldn't have recognized her if she weren't with Jenny and Dave. They are such an absolutely beautiful family! Dave and Jenny are such wonderful parents and their daughters are absolute dolls! I enjoyed my time catching up with Jenny and Dave and capturing some of the fun and tender moments they shared together during our session! Thanks Lane family for meeting up with me this morning and I look forward to seeing the ENTIRE crew on the 12th!!!

Being in the right place at the right time...
I was at Scioto Park a couple of weeks ago and I had just finished a session for my Aunt, Uncle and cousins. As I was catching up with them for a moment getting ready to leave I was approached by a beautiful lady who had been looking for their photographer. We talked for a moment and I offered to do their session for them as a back up plan...so off we went! It couldn't have been a more beautiful day... it was warm with a slight breeze and the colors of the leaves were perfect!!!
Although I had never met the family, it seemed very apparent Mom and Dad had a real closeness with all of their children. I loved watching this close knit family interact as I did their session. As a mother of three young children I found myself wishing for the same relationship with my children when they are in their teen/pre-teen years.
Hutras family thank you so much for allowing me to do your photo session. Your family is beautiful inside and out and I truly enjoyed meeting all of you!
